Are they laughing at me

This tiger right here sparked my for tigers. When I saw this fella through the glass for the first time at Auckland Zoo, he came up and followed me, 8 at the time, up and down the little brick wall. He rubbed against my 'hand' pressed against the glass. I then returned the next week and spent half an hour watching him. I remember hearing about the cubs once they were born, and wanting imediately to go see them, because my family was due to move two weeks later. So we did, and when we turned up at the enclosure, the cubs weren't there. I was bitterly disappointed and insisted on staying to see if they would come out. After another 30 minutes, the door of the den lifted and the cubs came prancing out. Once I'd moved to Indonesia, I wanted to see the cubs again, so my dad brought me a large tiger plush, whom I named Oz. Now having moved back to New Zealand, I'm yet to see Oz, but I await a day my illness allows me too.
